WASHINGTON (AP) - Federal offices in the Washington, D.C., area will be closed on Thursday as a harsh winter storm dumps snow and ice across the region.
The federal Office of Personnel Management announced the closings late Wednesday.
The OPM's website says emergency and telework-ready employees required to work must follow their agency's policies, including written telework agreements.
