Utah Valley men's soccer returns home to 3-0 win over Bakersfield

After three straight road matches, including losses at Sacramento State and Seattle that knocked them out of the NSCAA top 25, Utah Valley men’s soccer returned to Clyde Field with a 3-0 win over Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday night.

Reports are surfacing that Utah basketball guard Kenneth Ogbe has expressed his intention to transfer from the program, becoming the seventh player to transfer in the last year. Ogbe only played in five games last season due to injury.

The UVU mens soccer team has won 23 games in just two seasons, earned an at-large berth to the NCAA tournament and the school's first-ever top 25 ranking in any sport. It also had the 12th-ranked recruiting class in 2016.
