HAVANA (AP) - The main international terminal of Havana's airport has been briefly evacuated due to a fire, but there are no reports of deaths or injuries.

Amalia Reigosa was at Terminal 3 of Jose Marti airport to pick up her mother who was arriving from Italy. Reigosa says officials told her the afternoon fire was caused by human error and originated in an office near the departure area.

Smoke spread through the air ducts, and the terminal was evacuated.

Fire trucks and ambulances appeared but there were no reports of injuries and no official word on any damage.

Some flights were delayed but service was normal later Thursday.

Terminal 3 was built in the 1990s with Canadian financing and handles most international flights. It is currently being renovated.
