MIAMI (AP) - An air crew from the U.S. Coast Guard has recovered two victims of a small plane crash in the area of Staniel Cay, Bahamas.

The men were rescued Sunday afternoon by a crew from Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater after the Federal Aviation Administration notified the agency of the twin engine crash.

Officials say they launched a MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter to located and recover the men. The Coast Guard says the men were taken to Nassau, Bahamas.

The agency says there were no reports of injuries and the cause of the crash is being investigated.
