NEW YORK (AP) — Twenty-three days of grabbing headlines has earned a television episode for two convicted killers who escaped from an upstate New York maximum-security prison.
The Investigation Discovery network says it will take a close look at the saga of Richard Matt and David Sweat in "Prison Break: The Manhunt Ends" as a part of its "Front Page" series Friday night.
It will recount the inmates' relationships with workers at Clinton Correctional Facility, their escape, the manhunt and Matt's death and Sweat's capture. Viewers will get detailed explanations from investigators and experts who worked the case.
ID's "Front Page" series tries to stay current with headlines and quickly create episodes that give commentary on recent crimes.
