SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. (AP) — Organizers expect bigger crowds for this year's SnowGlobe music festival at South Lake Tahoe.
SnowGlobe producer Chad Donnelly predicts the outdoor event will attract about 14,000 people a day over its three-day run, up from 10,000 people a day last year.
The festival at Lake Tahoe Community College begins Monday afternoon and ends at 1 a.m. New Year's Day.
Donnelly told the Tahoe Daily Tribune (http://bit.ly/1vi9UJx ) the increase in concertgoers is being made possible by organizers' ability to create more space at the venue.
He says removal of a number of items from the main field has allowed organizers to increase the size of one of the tents and make more room in general.
Among artists scheduled to perform are Scrillex, Atmosphere, Zedd, Flume, Flux Pavilion and Porter Robinson.
