NEW YORK (AP) - An industry newsletter is offering free digital previews of books by Lemony Snicket, Barbara Ehrenreich and dozens of others.

Available for downloads from most e-book retailers as of Tuesday, "Buzz Books 2014" compiles offerings from 40 upcoming "buzz" works, as selected by online publication Publishers Lunch.

Choices range from Ehenreich's memoir "Living With a Wild God" to a novel by the late Rolling Stone reporter Michael Hastings. Excerpts from a 756-page volume also are provided from Twitter co-founder Biz Stone's "Things a Little Bird Told Me," Ann Brashares' "The Here and Now" and Jojo Moyes' "One Plus One."

Works previewed in earlier Buzz Book editions include Elizabeth Gilbert's novel "The Signature of All Things" and Junot Diaz's story collection "This is How You Lose Her."
