Salt Lake Comic Con is all about celebrating heroes, and that includes the heroes in our own communities. Salt Lake Comic Con co-founder Dan Farr talks about today's promotion to give back to the family of Doug Barney, who was killed in the line of duty; as well as the family of Jon Richey, who was shot three times by a suspect.
Until midnight tonight (January 19th), 50% of the proceeds of every ticket sold go to help the officers. Fans can also donate directly on the GrowTIX site with 100% of sales going to the families.
Dan Farr says it's important to remember the real heroes who put their lives on the line every day to protect us.
