We've all likely experienced tired eyes from looking at a computer screen or TV all day. And it's becoming a bigger problem because of how prevalent technology is in our lives.

Doctor Mike Peterson from Visionology Utah is telling us about the affects of blue light from those devices, and the new lens technology for glasses that actually blocks out harmful light.

Dr. Peterson says that recent research shows that TVs, smartphones, tablets, and computers emit high energy blue light that is not only linked to eye disease, but also shifts melatonin levels and can effect your sleep. Additionally, almost 70% of U.S. adults spend at least seven hours a day looking at a digital device!

Visionology Utah offers the option of putting new blue light-blocking lenses into any frame that can protect the wearer from the harmful rays, and can also help prevent sleep problems.
