Rocky Mountain Power giving us some great ideas on what you need to have in case of emergency.

RockyMountainPower.net has great ideas on preparedness. But first off, make sure you call them if your power is out. They have an automated system that let's you report it, so the power company can try and get it going more quickly.

Within your home, especially in these hot summer months, don't open your refrigerator or freezer. They can stay cold inside for a long time, and keep your food fresh.

Or in the case of long term outages, be prepared with things you can use to stay cool and things to support your family. Extra water, alternative food, and a radio with extra batteries to make sure you know what's going on in the outside world. Also, get a portable charging system for your cell phone as well.
