If you've spent basically anytime here in Utah, you've probably heard the name Richard Paul Evans. He's a best selling author who has a new book out just in time for the holidays.

"The Mistletoe Promise" is the story of a woman who's gone through a bitter divorce and can't stand the thought of being alone during the Christmas season. And on a November day, she runs into a man from her apartment building who also doesn't want to be alone during this time of year. So they make a pact to pretend to be a couple until the evening of December 24th. But there are rules. 1. No deep, probing personal questions 2. No drama 3. No telling anyone the truth about the relationship 4. The contract is void on Christmas Day.

The book has been selling out all over the place with high scores from reviewers.

It's also the 20th Anniversary of the dedication of the Angel statue at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. It's the angel from Evans' novel "The Christmas Box", which has sold over eight million copies.
