Interesting that the P-12 was supposed to give Utah more coverage and a wider recruiting base than the independent BYU but looking at both lists it appears to be no advantage as both have recruits from all over the US.

Didn't you just contradict your own point? BYU has always had recruits from all over due to the large LDS following, and the fact that Utah, as you put it, has recruits also from all over the US, means they are appreciating a broadening recruiting base.

Looks like a pretty good recruiting class. I looks like Taysom will have some pretty good targets to throw to. It also looks like, looking at the bio's that they got some speed with this recriuting class. However the lack of 5 start athletes is discouraging. But as we have seen in the past with other teams how many stars you have can mean nothing. Can't wait till football!!!! Go Cougers and Thunderbirds

I am actually pretty surprised at this class. I think they have a terrific class. BYU managed to steal Uriah away from Stanford. They held off USC for Warner. They landed Devon Blackmon (I think he is going to be fun to watch) He is kind of a Reggie Bush type player (I am NOT saying he is the next Bush) He just looks like the type that you get him the ball in open space and the next thing you know he is in the endzone. I believe Takitaki was wavering at one point, thinking about Wisconsin and BYU managed to hold on to him. I was extremely impressed with the highlight film on Gulley as well. I'm looking for him to have a big impact on the field during his time at BYU. And even though Kurtz signed a month or so ago the fact that he had offers from USC, Oregon, Texas Tech and he still signed with BYU. I am stoked for the future of BYU football.
Anyone know who the RM's are that will be back for fall camp? And who on this list is headed out immediately?
