Corvette driver killed, passenger injured in St. George car crash

A driver was killed Saturday, and his passenger critically injured, in a car accident on state Route 7. The Corvette the men were in was "traveling at a high rate of speed" prior to the accident, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

A woman suffered minor injuries Sunday when her car veered off of I-80 in an area near the Bonneville Salt Flats and rolled. Utah Highway Patrol troopers say she was wearing a seat belt.

Every six days a Utah child is run over in a driveway or parking lot. Four or five of them die every year, and that's what Utah has witnessed so far this year. A program called Spot the Tot aims to save more of those kids.

Motorcycle rider dies in SR 201 traffic accident

A 57-year-old Stansbury man died Saturday when his motorcycle rear-ended a car on state Route 201, throwing him from the vehicle. The man was not wearing a helmet, a Utah Highway Patrol trooper said.
