Imagine sitting down to order a pizza, but the menu has been replaced by an interactive table. This is Pizza Hut's vision of dining. Patrons virtually assemble pizzas by swiping the tabletop screen. The meal is paid for by simply placing a smartphone on the glass. It's just a delicious concept now, but you may see these tabletops in your town some day.

Remember how great it felt when smartphone-apps replaced the stacks of business cards we used to collect? Well, these developers want to bring the business card back by using games of Tetris. The Arduoboy may be the latest craze at your next conference. It's a tiny speaker, an Arduino, a battery, and an OLED screen. The whole card-sized system is only as thick as a nickle, but it's pricey. One Arduoboy costs $50 on Kickstarter.

This is either the ultimate cabinet for chess-fans or the coolest chessboard for cabinet-fans. The 'Secret Compartment Chess Table' only opens after the pieces are played in a particular nine move order. This chess table isn't found in any furniture store. It's a home project found on Instructibles-dot-com.
