The meal is paid for by simply placing a smartphone on the glass. It's just a delicious concept now, but you may see these tabletops in your town some day.
Remember how great it felt when smartphone-apps replaced the stacks of business cards we used to collect? Well, these developers want to bring the business card back by using games of Tetris. The Arduoboy may be the latest craze at your next conference. It's a tiny speaker, an Arduino, a battery, and an OLED screen. The whole card-sized system is only as thick as a nickle, but it's pricey. One Arduoboy costs $50 on Kickstarter.
