OGDEN, Utah (AP) - Kyle Tresnak scored 19 points and Davion Berry had 16 as Weber State knocked off Big Sky-leading Montana 87-63, snapping the Grizzlies' 25-game conference winning streak in the regular season.

Frank Otis and Gelaun Wheelwright added 14 points apiece for the Wildcats (18-5, 16-2), whose fifth straight victory pulled them within a game of Montana (18-5, 14-1) and avenged a 76-74 loss to the Grizzlies earlier this season.

Mathias Ward and Will Cherry scored 18 points each for Montana, which had won 14 straight overall and a conference-record 25 in a row in the Big Sky (27 straight counting the conference tournament). The Grizzlies' last loss in conference play was also at Weber State (80-64 on Jan. 14, 2012), where the Wildcats have won 27 of their last 28 games.

Weber State pulled away early on Thursday, scoring 11 straight points to take a 26-11 lead and extending the cushion to 44-24 by halftime. (Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.)
