Several years ago Elder M. Russell Ballard of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles gave a talk in General Conference about the small and simple things.
In it, he said, "the purposes of the Lord in our personal lives generally are fulfilled through the small and simple things, and not the momentous and spectacular."
