Thousands of young members of the LDS Church performed in a cultural celebration in Ogden Saturday afternoon. Similar celebrations have become tradition the day before the dedication of an LDS temple, and the performers were thrilled to be a part of it all.

Sure, long-distance running is hard. It requires time and physical and mental effort. It hurts, but you can stop when you want to stop. You are in control, or should be. There is always a finish line and a sense of accomplishment. And when that gift is taken away, it can be devastating.

107 elite runners went to Kanab to compete in the third annual Grand to Grand Ultra, a 170-mile race that spans six days. The race starts at the Grand Canyon and finishes at Bryce Canyon.
