SALT LAKE CITY — If you haven’t already taken part of Salt Lake’s Downtown Dine O’Round, you have four more days to eat your heart out at a discounted price.

Since the Downtown Alliance-sponsored Dine O’Round ends in four days, here are four dinner options for $15 downtown.

J. Wong’s Asian Bistro

This beautiful restaurant serves up delicious Chinese and Thai food prepared with creativity. You would be hard-pressed to find better Asian food in Salt Lake City. J. Wong’s serves great traditional Asian dishes like walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken and egg drop soup, but their spring rolls are out of this world.

The service of this family owned and operated restaurant is impeccable, too.

Sixth & Pine

Stepping into this place is like being in a New York bistro. The beautifully designed space complements the delicious food. Typically on the pricey side (lunch can run nearly $15 when all is said and done), for the Dine O’Round you can get a dinner course for $15.

Serving up American fare like salads, hot sandwiches and chicken and waffles, the quality of the food is excellent. Plus, you get a pickle plate to start out. Few things are better than an assortment of pickled vegetables, in my opinion.

Settebello Pizza

We’ve written about Settebello before, but it bears repeating that this place makes great pizza. In the traditional Italian way, patrons eat their own pie.

Fired in a wood-burning stove and made with ingredient from Italy, the thin-crusted pizzas pack a lot of flavor. Though Settebello’s pizza is the star of the show, the antipastas are great as well.

Squatters Pub

Whether you drink or not, Squatters has something sure to please your tastebuds. Squatters puts a spin on traditional pub food (think Ahi Spring Roll Salad and the blackened tilapia sandwich) and accommodates vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free eaters.

Though serving portions are large, if you can find a way to squeeze in an appetizer, you won’t regret it. That’s what take-out boxes are for, right?

If you’re looking for an interesting $5 or $10 lunch option, or want to get fancy and spend $30 on a nice dinner, check out the Downtown Alliance website.
