If the word “journal” conjures an eye-roll or visions of dusty family history tomes, think again. Learning and personal journals are a key way to reconnect with ourselves. As we enjoy the method, we’ll limit the possible madness.
On Saturday, a dozen animal welfare groups hosted a daylong event to help get over 100 homeless pets adopted into new permanent homes. The second annual Petapalooza Festival was hosted at the Viridian Event Center in West Jordan.
Some parents in the Jordan School District are upset over the school dress code their kids brought home. It said students can not wear clothing with military insignia. The district says that is not its policy.
