ST. GEORGE — Imagine sharing your wedding day with not one, but three of your siblings. One St. George family did just that.
The Fortney family made the weddings of four of the six kids one big party — three sisters and one brother all tied the knot.
“With most families, this would not work,” Grace Fortney Weaver said. “Thankfully I have wonderful, wonderful sisters and a wonderful brother.”
The bride said they let each other pick the things that really mattered to them. In the end, everyone just wanted to make each other happy.
The Fortney parents said they couldn't be more proud of their children.
“There are few things that can compare to the fullness of joy that you feel when your children are happy,” Kevin Fortney, father of three of the brides and one groom, said.
A big reception was held Saturday night for all eight newlyweds.
