A Rebuttal to Alex Kirry

That guy should not have resigned. He was just doing his job.

As for the money, it's not cheap to photograph that plane. We don't do it often, but when we do it's okay to spend the money.

Obama Aide Who Authorized Air Force One Flight Quits

Alex Kirry  |  posted May 8th - 6:01pm
Luis Caldera, the White House aide who authorized a low-altitude flight over New York City by the plane used as Air Force One, has resigned because of the fallout. Let's review what happened. He authorized a giant jet-liner to sweep super-close to the Manhattan skyline for a few cool photos of a plane. New York then has a collective heart attack. And it only cost taxpayers a mere $357,000. Happy trails, Mr. Caldera.

A History Lesson For Republicans

Ethan Millard  |  posted May 7th - 3:38pm
2002: President Bush submits America's first $2 trillion budget after well over 200 years of independence.

2009: 7 years later President Bush submits America's first $3 trillion budget and $18 billion in budget cuts.

2010: President Obama submits $3.4 trillion budget and $17 billion in budget cuts.

Amazingly the Republicans are sneering at Obama's budget/ spending cuts.

Maybe James Carville was right. Maybe we really are looking at 40 years of Dem dominance.

Because right now the Republicans just don't have any credibility on the most serious issues of the day.
