Ogden's new police chief has had a rough first week on the job. But the shooting that claimed the life of one of his officers hasn't robbed Chief Wayne Tarwater of his hope — especially now that two other officers are making a marked recovery.
For families of the officers injured and killed in the Ogden shooting Wednesday night, their lives have been turned upside down. The wife of one of the injured officers shared her feelings with KSL News following a very long night of uncertainty.
Volunteers from around the world responded in
the aftermath of the attacks of September 11,
2001. Among them were many Utahns, including a
psychologist who was part of a mental health
team with the American Red Cross.
