Marc Giauque, KSL Newsradio A group of people who live in a Wasatch County community is vowing to continue their fight against a proposal to build an Aspen, Utah.
Just outside of Heber City, and just off Highway 40, are a few dozen homes. To the south are the hills Dean Sellers wants to develop into a world class community, a community that would be called "Aspen."
But Dot Zetco is among many who don't want Aspen, Utah, as a neighbor. "You see this hill up here? Do you see any aspens on there?" Zetco questioned.
Zetco says opponents are worried about the impact on their lives. "They like the peace and quiet out there. We like to have our horses and be able to ride, and a couple of sheep, people have chickens. That's what this area was zoned for," she said.
Proponents see it as a benefit to all. Many have signed petitions on both sides of the fight.
