Usually the IRS is out to collect money, but now it's
trying to return large sums of money to people across the
country.
The agency is trying to match about 96,000 taxpayers with
$80 million in undelivered refund checks from the 2001 tax
year.
Many of the checks weren't delivered because taxpayers moved
without updating their addresses.
You can check the IRS's website at
www.irs.gov to see if you have an unclaimed refund. The
feature will be available online until early December.
