Bob Lilly Signed Cowboys Jersey

$125.00

West Jordan, UT | 5 Hours
Bob Lilly Signed Cowboys Jersey Inscribed "HOF '80" & "Mr. Cowboy" (Official Lilly Hologram). Custom on-field style jersey. Everything sewn on, size XL. Hand-signed in silver paint pen by Bob Lilly (HOF). The autograph includes an official Bob Lilly player hologram for authenticity purposes. Authentication: Lilly HologramLilly was a two-time All-South West Conference pick and a consensus All-America choice at Texas Christian before the Dallas Cowboys’ selected him as their first-ever draft choice in 1961.For the next 14 seasons, his play on defense was so outstanding that he became popularly known as “Mr. Cowboy.” Bob starred as a defensive end in 1961 but then moved to a defensive tackle spot in his third season with even more sensational results. As a tackle, Lilly was a first-team All-NFL choice every year from 1964 through 1969, then again in 1971, and 1972. The only years he missed first-team honors was his final two seasons in the league and in 1970 when he was a second-team choice.Lilly was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980, his first year of eligibility, and was the first player who spent his entire career with the Cowboys to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Sporting News named him a member of the All-Century NFL Team and “the greatest defensive tackle in NFL history”. Tom Landry said of Lilly: “As I’ve said before, another Lilly won’t come along in my time. We’re observing a man who will become a legend”. This comment is from the 1972 Street and Smith’s Pro Football Yearbook. He also said that “Nobody is better than Lilly”. He is a member of the National Football League 1960s All-Decade Team and National Football League 1970s All-Decade Team. more

Mike Singletary Signed Football

$100.00

West Jordan, UT | 5 Hours
Mike Singletary Signed Football Inscribed "1980's All-Decade Team" (Schwartz COA). Wilson NFL full-size football hand-signed and inscribed in silver paint pen by Mike Singletary (Bears, HOF). The autograph includes an official Schwartz Sports Hologram and matching COA for authenticity purposes. Authentication: Schwartz Sports COAAfter playing college football for Baylor University, Singletary was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 2nd round of the 1981 NFL Draft and was known as "The Heart of the Defense" for the Chicago Bears' Monsters of the Midway in the mid-1980s. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998.At 6 ft (1.8 m), 230 lb (100 kg), Singletary became a starting linebacker in the Chicago Bears defense in the seventh game of his rookie season (1981). In a game against the Kansas City Chiefs, his third as a starter, Singletary gave a remarkable defensive performance, recording 10 tackles and forcing a fumble. He was a nearly unanimous all-rookie selection. Singletary started 172 games for the Bears during his 12-year career, the second most in club history. An intense player, he finished as the Bears' first or second leading tackler each of his last 11 seasons. He amassed an impressive 1,488 career tackles, 885 of which were solo efforts. He missed playing just two games, both in 1986. He made 7 interceptions and 12 fumble recoveries. He led the Bears to a 15-1 season in 1985. The "46" defense invented by Buddy Ryan allowed Singletary to be unblocked on virtually every play. That season, he recorded 109 solo tackles (52 assists), 3 sacks, 1 interception, 3 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble, and 10 defended passes. He won the NFL Defensive Player of the Year,[5] and led a defense that was ranked 1st overall (1st against the rush; 3rd against the pass). The Bears would eventually go to win Super Bowl XX that year by beating the New England Patriots 46–10. In the game, Singletary broke up a pass that would have gone for a touchdown, delivered jarring hits to New England running back Craig James all game, and tied a Super Bowl record with 2 fumble recoveries. He earned the nickname Samurai Mike during his professional career in recognition of the intimidating focus and intensity he displayed on the field. He was also known as the Minister of Defense, as he is also an ordained minister. (For the same reason, the nickname would later be given to another NFL defense player, Reggie White.) Singletary was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year by the Associated Press in 1985 and 1988. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995 and to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1998. In 1999, he was ranked number 56 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players. more

Bill Bates Signed Cowboys Logo Football

$100.00

West Jordan, UT | 5 Hours
Bill Bates Signed Cowboys Logo Football Inscribed "Super Bowl Champ 92-93-95". Full-size Cowboys logo football. The ball is hand-signed and inscribed in black felt-tip pen by Bill Bates (Cowboys). The autograph includes an official Bill Bates hologram for authenticity purposes.Authentication: Bill Bates HologramWilliam Frederick "Bill" Bates is a former American football safety who played for fifteen seasons in the National Football League, all of which were spent with the Dallas Cowboys. A fan favorite, he was a Pro Bowl selection in 1984, played in Super Bowl XXVIII and Super Bowl XXX, and was on the Cowboys' roster for Super Bowl XXVII. He played college football at Tennessee.Bates went undrafted in the 1983 NFL Draft after he ran the 40-yard dash in a disappointing 4.8 seconds during the NFL Scouting Combine. He was selected by the USFL's New Jersey Generals in their territorial draft, but he decided to sign as an undrafted free agent with the Dallas Cowboys, which had been his favorite team growing up. He was a long shot to make the team but his heart and hustle earned him a roster spot on the team and a place in the hearts of all Cowboy fans. From the start he excelled on special teams, being named NFC special teams player of the year as a rookie. In 1984 he was selected to the Pro Bowl in just his second year, causing the NFL to create a first-time roster spot for special teams players, making Bates the first such player to receive that election. He was also elected All-Pro that season. In 1986, Bates became a starter at strong safety and remained there until 1988, after which he was used only in the Nickel defense packages. At the end of the 1989 season, Jimmy Johnson informed Bates that he was going to be left unprotected on the team’s Plan B free agency list. Although the Minnesota Vikings were interested in him, just before the deadline, the Cowboys decided to protect him.In 1989, he was the leader in special teams tackles with 19. The next year he led the team again with 23 tackles, becoming the first player in franchise history to do it in consecutive years.Bates received the team’s Bob Lilly Award four consecutive seasons from 1990 to 1994. This award is selected by a vote of the fans and annually goes to the Cowboy player who displays leadership and character on and off the field. In 1992, he suffered a season-ending knee injury. After the 1993 season, he was selected by his teammates to receive the Ed Block Courage Award for successfully overcoming his injury and leading the team in special teams tackles (25).Bates is tied with Ed "Too Tall" Jones and Mark Tuinei for the most seasons playing in a Cowboys uniform with 15. Upon his retirement after the 1997 season, he was considered one of the most beloved Cowboys of all time. Over his 15-year career, he had 14 interceptions and 122 return yards.Bates earned three Super Bowl rings with the Cowboys, playing in Super Bowl XXVIII and Super Bowl XXX. He was on injured reserve during the 1992 season, when the Cowboys played in Super Bowl XXVII.Tom Landry once said, “If we had 11 players on the field who played as hard as Bill Bates does and did their homework like he does, we’d be almost impossible to beat”. He described Bates and Cliff Harris as "the hardest hitters I ever saw." Referring to Bates' reputation as a hard hitter, John Madden stated, "Every game starts with a kick. With Bill Bates on the field, every game begins with a bang!" more

Sports cards collection

$250.00

West valley, UT | 23 Hours
For sale $250 firm & that's a bargain. I have a collection of cards to sell. They consist of at least 21 or so sets I have been completing(15 football, 4 baseball & 2 or so basketball)& thousands of other cards(including over 1300 stars, inserts & rookies + 50 autograph/Jersey/patch cards). I just recently put the (partial) sets in their own storage boxes to better organize them. The sets would cost $1000+ if you bought the factory sets in stores but the ones I have include about 20 or more inserts in each set adding to the value + I have partial 2nd sets of at least 3 of them as well & a box full of duplicate cards(buying boxes you get quite a few). I buy boxes trying to make sets. The sets hold most of the value because the other cards are mostly common cards or semi stars (other than the 1300+ stars/insets/rookies i have in a shoebox). Great for set builders or beginning collectors. A big lot for $250. Text only thanks. 801-604-8728. No emails or texts asking me to email THANKS. more
