LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Steve Stricker has a chance to play the PGA Championship as the winner of the Senior PGA Championship. The 57-year-old Stricker has decided to take a pass. Stricker cites fatigue and a busy schedule for giving up his spot at Valhalla next week. To have played the PGA Championship would have meant four big tournaments in five weeks. That stretch concludes with him hosting the American Family Insurance Championship in his native Wisconsin on the PGA Tour Champions. Stricker has been replaced in the Valhalla field by Alex Smalley.
