REGRETSVILLE — I've been on TV a fair number of times, but no matter how often I do it, I always have that nagging voice in the back of my mind saying, "Don't embarrass yourself. Come on, for you and me, don't embarrass yourself."

Unfortunately, I embarrassed myself way too often and that's how I quickly realized that I was more suited for life behind the camera.

On the other hand, life in front of the camera is very much suited for reporter Cory James, but he maybe wished he'd called in sick a few days ago and not done his live shot on the new "Guardians of the Galaxy" ride at Disneyland.

The ride is a new take on the old Tower of Terror at California Adventure, but it still includes the same terrifying drops as the old attraction. I don't know if James had just never been on the Tower of Terror and didn't know what to expect, or if he had repressed the memory, but he was surprised. You need to watch the video yourself to really understand the man's absolute terror, but suffice it to say he screams louder than my 6-year-old daughter.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

In James' defense, it is a pretty scary ride, as my wife can attest to. A few years ago, I convinced (forced) her to ride the Tower of Terror with me. When we took the big drop she managed to look at me between screams and shout at the top of her lungs, "I hate you!"

Thankfully posterity can enjoy this moment forever because it happened to be at the exact moment our picture was taken on the ride. My wife's angry face, as she screams bitter words toward me while I have a smile from ear to ear, is captured in time forever, much like James' cries for help.
