OGDEN -- A 16-year-old will be tried as an adult after being charged in the second of two shootings targeting the same Ogden house.
The teen has been booked into the Weber County Jail on five counts of attempted murder for firing several rounds at the house on Oct. 27.
Ogden police Lt. Scott Conley said the teen likely did this as retribution for two of his gang buddies getting busted for a drive-by there the day before. When the shooting began, members of the media had to duck for cover.
"That makes you question the maturity level of the individual," Conley said. "I mean, you know, the responsibility of firing upon a group of individuals for standing out in front of a home."
The teen was busted after showing up to a school, getting spotted, and then being chased into a dead end.
