Ashley Hayes Reporting One man is dead and another is in jail after an argument went too far.

Police found the victim with a stab wound to his stomach outside a Maceys store in Clearfield. They captured the suspect hours after the attack.

Police found the suspect, 18-year-old Michael Moll, at a friend's house late last night and arrested him.

Asst. Chief Greg Krusi, Clearfield Police Dept.: "We were contacted by a friend of the suspect. She indicated that he was distraught at that point, and was willing to turn himself into police. Our detectives went the home where is was at here in Clearfield, and made the arrest at that point."

Suspect Arrested in Fatal Stabbing

Police say earlier he fled the scene after fighting with, and then stabbing Karl Kuhn at 580 South State Street in Clearfield. When police arrived on the scene, Kuhn was still alive.

Officers administered first aid and he was flown to Ogden Regional Medical Center. Kuhn died at the hospital.

Police say the stabbing was over money, some sort of unpaid debt.

Moll is booked in the Davis County Jail on murder charges.

This is the second murder in Clearfield this year. Before 2006, Clearfield police say they had not had a murder in over seven years.
