AMERICAN FORK — Several people were injured when a pickup truck with six people inside rolled off a steep mountain road in American Fork Canyon early Thursday morning, officials said.
The truck was on Silver Lake Road above Tibble Fork Reservoir around 12:15 a.m. when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, according to a tweet from Utah County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Spencer Cannon.

The truck rolled 100 yards down a mountain.
Two people were airlifted to Utah Valley Hospital — a male passenger in his 20s in critical condition and a female passenger in her 20s in serious condition.
Another person was taken to American Fork Hospital in serious condition.
Three others were treated at the scene.
