BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Authorities say a 15-year-old boy pulled from a pond in Boise by a water rescue team on Friday evening has died.
The Boise Police Department in a statement late Saturday morning says the teenager didn't survive.
Authorities didn't say when he died or release the boy's name.
Police say the Boise Fire Dive team responded to Quinn's Pond in Boise for a water rescue at about 7 p.m. Friday and located the boy about 23 minutes after being dispatched. He was taken to a local hospital.
Police say the boy wasn't wearing a life preserver and went underwater while swimming with friends.
