SOUTH SALT LAKE — An 11-year-old boy who had been reported missing and endangered returned to his home late Tuesday night, police said.

Gaige Hughes had left his home at 8:30 p.m. Monday and did not return, according to police.

South Salt Lake Police Sgt. Gary Keller said Wednesday morning that he received word around 10:50 p.m. Tuesday that Hughes had returned home.

No other details were immediately provided.
