NOT IN CHINA — It turns out, professional athletes are just as human as the rest of us.

They make mistakes, they believe in (sometimes silly) superstitions and they get cravings for Chick-fil-A sandwiches.

As evidenced by this week’s Great Clips.

Klay Thompson’s missed 360 dunk is fabulous

The Golden State Warriors rolled to the 2017 NBA title with few mistakes and fewer speed bumps.

There was finally a misstep — by Warriors shooting star Klay Thompson.

Thompson was in China as part of a promotional trip for Anta sneakers, a Chinese brand he famously rocks, and he went up for a 360-degree dunk attempt that, ummm, didn’t go as planned.

Blame it on jet lag, sore legs or the offseason. But somebody get Thompson an ice bag after that fall.

Does the toaster travel?

Before the Warriors' run to the NBA finals a year ago, one fan had the whole team sign a toaster March 13, 2016, setting up an incredible 14-0 run and ending in back-to-back trips to the finals.

Can the brave little metal appliance do the same thing for the Warriors’ Bay Area neighbors, the San Francisco Giants?

One fan hopes so — and he apparently made a believer out of manager Bruce Bochy.

Remember the date — and remember that the Giants are 27-51, and five games behind San Diego for last place in the NL West.

What does Derek Carr want from his massive contract? Chicken.

Derek Carr became the highest-paid player in NFL history Friday, signing a five-year $125 million extension with the Oakland Raiders.

When asked what the former Fresno State star plans to splurge on with the money, the devout Christian was humble in his response.

But there is one thing he wants.

“Probably Chick-fil-A,” he said during a press conference at Oakland’s facility. “I’ve been eating clean … I’ll probably get some Chick-fil-A.”
