Supporting others through hard times

Elizabeth P.

“I met a little girl last night at my daughter's dance recital rehearsal who has leukemia and just finished her last round of treatment. One of the dance teams have choreographed a dance in her honor and is even having her come up and dance it with them during the recital. Turns out the owner of the dance studio in Roy has really helped this mother and her children a lot while the family went through this illness with this little girl.”

Doing something kind for someone else

Jennifer H.

“My best friend is 34 and has Down syndrome. His sister, who is a senior in high school, is taking him to the prom tonight. He is so excited that he can't stop smiling. With all of the horrible news that we see, it would be nice to see something cute like this.”

Helping out a family in need

Allison H.

“The home of Deserae Turner was flooded a few days before she was shot. Imagine the damage as it sat for months while the family was in the hospital taking care of her and praying for her recovery. A local company found out about the flooding and (the manager) reached out to April Turner to help. (The company) cleaned up their basement for free last week. With all of the bad that happens in the world, there are still amazing, good-hearted and kind people.”
