SALT LAKE CITY — One man was taken to the hospital with a minor gunshot wound after a shooting in Salt Lake City on Sunday.
Lt. Scott Smalley, a spokesman for the Salt Lake City Police Department, said that around 3 a.m. they responded to a call of a shooting at 911 N. Sir Michael Drive in Salt Lake City.
One man was at the house, and had suffered a minor injury from the gunfire, Smalley said. The man was transported to a local hospital to get a bullet removed and was expected to make a full recovery.
Police did not release any further details on the victim at this time.
Smalley said that there is currently “little evidence” on a suspect, but that “there was enough evidence at the scene,” that gang detectives were investigating.
