AMERICAN FORK — This week’s club spotlight is on Fox Hollow in Utah County, with just one week until the Fox Hollow Amateur.
Starting this week, we’ll test out the latest golf gadgets — ones that claim too help you hit farther, straighter and longer. And of course, we’ll try to give away $5,000.
We’ve seen the infomercials and Internet ads with golf training aids that claim to make you a better golfer. But do they really work?
We decided to give them a try and see if they were as advertised.
Our first training aid is “the wiggly stick.” It claims to increase the speed of your swing so you can hit it longer.
We’ll also introduce you to Fox Hollow head pro Rick Roberts, one of the favorite golf pros in Utah County. His story is pretty amazing.
