HALL OF JUSTICE — The DC cinematic universe has not hit the ground running like Warner Bros. had hoped. Yes, "

Yes, "Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" made a killing at the box office, but critically it was not received well. This summer we'll get the "Wonder Woman" movie, which looks promising and I'm looking forward to it. But it's the movie coming out this November that DC and Warner Bros. are really hoping changes the tide and helps them steal some fans from the Avengers.

The first full-length trailer for "Justice League" dropped online and gives us our best look at the DC superhero team.

The trailer has the stylized look and feel of many of director Zack Snyder's films like "300," "Sucker Punch" and "Watchmen," which is kind of a good news-bad news. None of those films are really great movies, but man do they look good. This has been kind of a staple with Snyder. He seems to give up substance for spectacle, but that can work in a superhero movie.

The other thing "Justice League" seems to have that "Batman v. Superman" was missing is humor. The showdown between Batman and Superman took itself much too seriously, but according to the trailer, this team-up movie doesn't mind making fun of itself a little.

There are some hints and reveals in the trailer like a quick glimpse at Amy Adams' Lois Lane, hinting at a possible return of Superman. We also get the briefest of looks at Amber Heard as Mera, Aquaman's wife in the comic series. We also get a small taste of J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. Personally, I think Gary Oldman is the quintessential Gordon, but I'm a big fan of Simmons and I'm willing to give him a shot.

For me, the trailer hasn't sold me on the film and I'm more than a little hesitant to rush to the theater, but at the end of the day, I want more Batman action and Wonder Woman knows how to get things done, so I'll be heading to the movies in November.

"Justice League" is slated to hit theaters on Nov. 17, 2017.
