OGDEN — Olympus' offense put on an offensive clinic Thursday morning in the 4A quarterfinals.

In a 32-minute game with no shot clock, the Titans scored 31 points in the second quarter and 32 points in the fourth to defeat Timpanogos 91-69. Overall, they shot 61.9 percent for the game, including 57.1 percent from 3-point land. Nearly every shot they took was at the rim or an open kick out from beyond the arc.

That was especially true in a dominant second quarter. After taking only a 2-point lead out of the first, Olympus came out and went on an 18-0 run that permanently changed the game in their favor.

"It was a great display," Olympus coach Matt Barnes said. "I thought we were terrific on the defensive end."

Jeremy Dowdell was the Titans' leading scorer, with 25 points on 7-10 shooting overall, including 5-8 from the 3-point line. Matt Lindsey finished with 20 points, eight rebounds, carrying the team in the game's tight first quarter. Point guard Rylan Jones easily handled Timpanogos' pressure defense, scoring 16 points and dishing 10 assists with some pretty stellar court vision.

Matt Norman led Timpanogos with 16 points, Dalten Stewart added in 14.

"Our goal is to win a state championship," Dowdell said. "When we're playing and passing like our coach always tells us, we love it. We haven't done it that well in a while."
