LEHI — The snow and slick roads caused a messy commute Thursday morning with a temporary closure on westbound I-80 in Parleys Canyon and with several lanes closed on southbound I-15 near Lehi.
Southbound I-15 was closed around 7:45 a.m. near the 2100 North exit after a multiple-vehicle accident, according to officials. The collision caused one vehicle to roll onto its side, blocking several lanes.
However, the lanes were reopened around 8:20 a.m., but shortly after, a separate accident closed several lanes near the Lehi Main Street exit. Those lanes were reopened around 9 a.m., according to Utah Department of Transportation officials.
