Giving Valentine’s Day flowers

Cheryl T.

“Harris Intermediate witnessed the sweetest act of kindness this morning at school! This young man brought a Valentine's rose to every sixth-grade girl. He bought the roses with his own money and said that his sisters helped him think of the idea. Once again, we have great youth! Colleen Shaffer, Principal at Harris Intermediate said, "I have every confidence that our future is in good hands."

“An anonymous young man at American Fork Junior High gave every single girl in the school one carnation flower that had a tag on it that said, "You are amazing, beautiful, remarkable, brilliant and loved." Every girl in that school had a smile on their face as they left school (Tuesday.) Kindness — pass it on!”

“At my school in Millard, a boy named Turner went out of his way for Valentine’s. He realized some girls don't receive anything for Valentine's Day, so he purchased eight buckets filled with about 50 roses. He went around the school the last period of the day and handed one out to all the teachers and every single girl. I didn't see one girl after (the end of the) day without a rose in their hand.

All of his roses were posted by many girls to social media… Every girl left that day with a warm feeling with his little act of service. Turner did not do this for the attention or recognition. All the leftover roses he had in his buckets, he delivered to the widows in his town. He is such good, humble boy with high standards.”
