SALT LAKE CITY — Three fun stories from the world of sports from today's From Left Field!
1. New York radio host confuses George Karl for Jerry Sloan
Legendary (for both some good reasons and some bad ones) New York City radio host Mike Francesa had former Seattle Sonics and Denver Nuggets head coach George Karl on his radio show this week, promoting his memoir titled "Furious George."
But we're pretty sure that Francesa thought he was interviewing Jerry Sloan. Here's what he said:
“If you take it back even to your classic series with the Bulls, the great Bulls teams, that ended on the Jordan shot—I know he pushed off—you guys played great the rest of the series. And then the classic play in Game 6 obviously with Jordan and Russell.”
Karl just responded, "No, that was Utah."
Here's the tape, if you want to listen:

2\. Chargers fan throws eggs at the team's facility ==================================================
This morning, the San Diego Chargers announced that they'll be moving the franchise to Los Angeles. Here's their new logo!
Of course, their San Diego fans were not happy. This one is just lobbing eggs at the team's front door:
Police were called to the scene.
3. Joel Embiid dances with the cheerleaders after Sixers buzzer-beating win
T.J. McConnell, of all people, hit a buzzer-beating, game winning shot over Carmelo Anthony to give the Philadelphia 76ers a win over the New York Knicks Wednesday night. That was great in its own right.
But the best part was Joel "The Process" Embiid, dancing along with the cheerleaders after the game.

He's really the best. I'm so glad Embiid is healthy and in uniform, so his dancing takes place front and center, rather than on the bench in a blazer.
