SALT LAKE CITY — A man once convicted of stalking President-elect Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka has been charged with stalking a Salt Lake woman.

Justin Massler, 34, who uses the alias Cloud Starchaser, was charged Thursday with stalking, a third-degree felony.

Between Sept. 21 and Oct. 5, Massler sent a woman who works in the hospitality industry at a local hotel 66 messages through various social media accounts, nine emails through her employer's Facebook page, and showed up at her workplace to deliver a letter to her, according to charging documents.

Massler, who has a YouTube channel using the name "Harry Potter," has made videos directly addressing the woman and has talked about her in other videos, charges state.

"Massler has a history of stalking Hollywood celebrities and politicians and has been convicted of stalking Ivanka Trump in New York," according to the charges.

In most of Massler's videos, he rambles for five to 10 minutes, calling himself the King of Israel and talking about the celebrities he wants to date. According to court documents, Massler is "schizophrenic and currently homeless."

In 2010, the New York Daily News reported that Massler's stalking habits went as far back as 2005, when he allegedly targeted author Tucker Max.

Massler grew up in New Jersey and attended several top prep schools, getting good grades before falling apart for unknown reasons and becoming a nomad who travels the U.S., the Daily News reported.

Massler served six months in jail following his conviction of stalking Ivanka Trump in 2012.
