SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — An ex-Utah State football player dropped by the Atlanta Falcons over multiple sexual assault allegations is back to Utah to face criminal charges.
Jail records show 22-year-old Torrey Green was booked into the Cache County jail Monday afternoon.
He was arrested in his home state of California earlier this month after being charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault in connection with five alleged victims.
The charges from his time at USU date as far back as 2013. Prosecutors began re-reviewing sex assault allegations that multiple women made against Green after alleged victims went public with their stories this summer.
His lawyer Greg Skordas didn't have immediate comment on the case Tuesday.
