Fan loses wedding ring during proposal at Yankees-Red Sox game

One of the most nervous moments in a man’s life is when he proposes to his partner. There are so many emotions going through the proposer’s mind. But there are two things that could happen which would make the moment a disaster: She says no or you lose the ring.

For one New York Yankees fan, the latter occurred on Tuesday night at Yankee Stadium.

During the bottom of the fifth inning in the Yankees vs. Red Sox game, a Yankees fan named Andrew decided to propose to his girlfriend, Heather.

As he was going down on one knee, Andrew lost the ring in the process.

Then, it was a frenzied search, as Andrew, Heather and the surrounding fans began to look for the ring. The whole episode was broadcast on the Yankee Stadium scoreboard and televised on ESPN and the YES Network for all to witness.

A few minutes passed by and no ring. Finally, after a few minutes of nervousness, the ring was found and Andrew was able to propose.

Heather said yes.

After the incident, Andrew told ESPN that it only took five minutes to find the ring, but it felt like an hour.

So where did the ring go? The groom-to-be told the YES Network the ring landed inside a fold at bottom of the bride-to-be’s pants.

The Yankees went on to win the game 6-4, but the story of the night was Andrew and Heather’s memorable moment that they’ll surely be telling people about for the rest of their lives.

Congrats to the happy and lucky couple.

Steph Curry practicing a new behind-the-back move

Last season ended badly for Steph Curry. The back-to-back MVP of the NBA and his Golden State Warriors blew a 3-1 lead and lost the NBA Finals to LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Many critics felt Curry didn’t step up in the Finals — some even said he choked.

For the upcoming season, Curry will have Kevin Durant as a new teammate, as well as a new on-the-court move.

Curry will apparently go with a behind-the-back move and shot for the 2016-16 season.

We’ll see if this move gets defenders tricked or if Steph’s new move & shot gets blocked by the likes of LeBron. ![](https://beacon.deseretconnect.com/beacon.gif?cid=444536&pid=4)
