THE HIDING PLACE — Certain animals are supposed to be inherently good at certain tasks.
Horses are excellent at galloping long distances. Whales are known for their hauntingly beautiful, interspecies music. Cheerleaders named Karlie know how to draw bubble letters on hot pink poster board. They’re all proficient at tasks that baffle other creatures.
One dog, however, is not very good at sniffing out his owner.
A Siberian husky, German shepherd and pit bull terrier mix named Niko prominently features in a darling video uploaded to YouTube wherein he tries to locate his owner, Gleeva.
With all those impressive breeds intermixed, it seems like Niko would be able to find a not-so-hidden Gleeva in a little game of hide-and-seek.
Well, either Niko lacks peripheral vision, a sense of smell or the will to end the game before he’s sprinted up and down the couch a hundred times, but the nice way to say it is he struggles to find his semi-sneaky owner. Luckily, it’s pretty funny watching him whiff in the meantime.
Watch the video and tell us in the comments your dog’s silliest behavior!
