Members of the Mountain West Conference had a rough week with only two teams posting wins. One of those wins came from the Air Force Falcons, who beat fellow MWC member Utah State, and the other came from Boise State.

The first game of the week featured Wyoming visiting Eastern Michigan. Wyoming was favored, but after the Cowboys jumped out to a 17-3 lead, Eastern Michigan scored 17 unanswered points and won on a late touchdown. Fans are torn on the results.
