PHILADELPHIA — Team Utah had its eye on advancing to the final four of The Basketball Tournament with a win over Team Colorado, which only won one game a year ago.

The Buffalo alumni had other ideas.

Marcus Hall had 22 points and six rebounds, and Austin Default added 17 points to help Team Colorado advance past Team Utah 83-78 Saturday in the quarterfinals of the annual basketball tournament featuring former college standouts.

Utah Jazz guard Alec Burks was one of the boosters for Team Colorado, and the former Buffs star was in attendance at Philadelphia University.

Dakari Tucker led Team Utah with 15 points, and Shaun Green, Terrence Drisdom and Bryant Markson each supplied 13 points for the former Utes.

Team Utah advanced to the quarterfinals after thrilling wins over the Utah Stallions, a team of former Utah State stars, and LAUNFD in Los Angeles. The ex-Utes then topped a Gonzaga alum all-star team in the round of 16 to set up a quarterfinal showdown with the Rocky Mountain rivals.

The former Utes even led by as many as 14 in the first half, and took a 44-35 lead into the break. But Colorado poured in 48 second-half points and scored 12 points on the break to clinch the win.
