SALT LAKE CITY — For many, nothing beats a delicious hamburger with French fries.

In Utah, we love our hamburgers and have many burger joints across the state to prove it.

In this poll, we are looking for you to vote for which burger place is Utah’s best. Some of the burger joint nominees include classic choices, new favorites and hole-in-the-wall delights.

And the nominees are:

Apollo Burger

Established in 1984, Apollo Burger is the home of the Athenian burger.

Salt City Burgers

Located in Sandy, Salt City Burgers is home to the smokehouse bacon burger, sunrise burger and many other tasty options.

Millie’s

Offering more than 30 different shakes, Millie’s has been around since 1981 and is home to the "Millie Burger."

Rich’s Burgers ‘n Grub

With over 20 different burgers to choose from, Rich’s is a fan favorite, especially for the downtown Salt Lake City crowd.

B&D Burgers

Established in 1981, B&D Burgers have been cooking up charbroiled burgers like the pastrami burger and avocado burger. The University of Utah crowd has been a fan of B&D for some time due to its proximity to campus.

Cliff House Gastro Pub

Located in Draper, Cliff’s House Gastro Pub offers great burgers along with live music and a great view of the valley.

Hermies Drive In

Cedar City’s Hermies Drive In is home of the "Hermie Burger," featuring three patties and a slice of ham.

Chedda Burger

Founded in 2012, Chedda Burger aspires to serve the new-style burger. Some of their burgers include “Old Faithful,” “Kill Me Softly” and “The Mother Hen.”

Lucky 13

Located near Smith’s Ballpark, Lucky 13 is a familiar burger place among Salt Lake City residents. Some of its famous, unique burgers include "The Breath Enhancer" and "The Fungus Amongus."

No Name Saloon

Once voted Park City’s best burger joint, the No Name Saloon is home of bison burgers, including its signature “Saloon Burger.”

Burger Bar

Family owned and operated since 1956, Burger Bar in Roy has been featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive Ins and Dives.” Its signature burger is the “Big Ben.” Burger Bar also features elk burgers, as well as buffalo burgers.

Crown Burgers

Crown Burgers is one of the most famous burger places along the Wasatch Front. The “Crown Burger” is obviously the restaurant’s signature burger, featuring hot pastrami on top of a quarter-pound beef patty.

JCW's The Burger Boys

Established in 1998, JCW’s has been a local favorite for many years. Some of its burgers include the “Hawaiian Burger,” “Bacon Blue Cheese Dressing Burger” and the “JCW Double.”

From Scratch

The “Scratch Burger” was named the Best of State Utah 2014 Local Burger winner. Other tasty burgers at From Scratch include the “Bleu Cheese Bacon Burger” and the “Egg Burger.”

Tonyburgers

With four locations along the Wasatch Front, Tonyburgers is home of the “Big Tony” burger. Its French fries, known as “mad fries,” are a hit as well.

Ruth’s Diner

Ruth’s Diner is one of Utah’s oldest restaurants, being established in 1930. The diner has been serving delicious burgers for decades. Some of Ruth’s Diner’s more famous burgers include the “This-is-Almost-the-Place Burger”, “Meatloaf Burger” and “Ruth’s Deluxe Pork Burger.”

There is no wrong answer. Vote for your favorite Utah burger place and see who Utahns decided was the best.
