SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz released their summer league training camp roster Thursday, revealing the 15 players that will take part in summer league practice.
Among the names are last year's Jazz picks, Trey Lyles and Olivier Hanlan. Lyles contributed greatly to the Jazz last season, while Hanlan played in Lithuania for the season.
This year's three second-round selections, headlined by Weber State's Joel Bolomboy, are also on the roster. Marcus Paige and Tyrone Wallace will compete with Hanlan and former Ohio State star Aaron Craft for PG minutes.
JJ O'Brien spent most of his time with the Idaho Stampede last season, though he was called up for a 10-day contract in the middle of the season with the Jazz. Like O'Brien, Dionte Christmas has played on Jazz summer league rosters at the wing position.
Assistant coach Johnnie Bryant will helm the squad in Salt Lake City, and Mike Wells will move to the head coaching role in Las Vegas.
The roster should nearly match the Jazz's final summer league roster for the Utah Jazz Summer League and Las Vegas Summer League, though it isn't completely final: some players may only participate in one league, and the Jazz have the option of bringing in other players.
