SALT LAKE CITY — Police asked for help Tuesday to identify a man who exposed himself to a woman in a parking lot.
The man approached a woman while she was sitting in her car in the parking lot of the Smith’s grocery store located at 2100 S. 900 East on June 20, according to the Salt Lake City Police Department. Investigators said the incident happened around noon.
“He exposed his genitalia to her and began touching himself,” a statement from police reads. “The victim attempted to write down license plate information of the suspect. The suspect approached and forcefully took the paper from the victim.”
Police released surveillance images of the man leaving Smith’s on Tuesday. Investigators described him as being Polynesian and in his late 20s or early 30s. He is about 6-feet-tall and weighs between 200 and 230 pounds.
